"It really is a shame that such a pretty face is about to get so fucked up." I say as I run my finger down his jawline. "Even more so that it was wasted on an asshole like you." I add. "Feel free to sit on it anytime you want, Tesoro." He replies. *** Anastasia Levkin has recently taken the title of Donna of the Russian mafia after her father died. No one knows she exists, let alone is the most feared and deadliest assassin in the world and the new queen of the Russians. When Anastasia goes on a mission to infiltrate the Italian mafia, she believes it will be an easy task - get caught, lie her way into the Italian mafia and destroy them. Simple right? Except things don't always go according to plan. When Vincenzo Medici, the Don of the Italian mafia, catches Anastasia in his warehouse, he falls into her trap and accepts her into his mafia. Using her as an asset... but is that really all she is to him? The question stands: Will blood always run thicker than water? Or are there exceptions? The more time she spends with Vincenzo and his family, the more difficult her decision becomes. *** *Book 1 of the Medici series* BEING RE-WRITTEN #1 in Mafia (21/03/22) #1 in Humour (22/03/22) #1 in Gun (22/03/22) #4 in Romance (21/03/22) #1 in MafiaRomance (08/04/22) #1 in Don (17/04/22) #7 in Funny (15/11/22) #1 in Assassin (22/02/23) #1 in Violence (26/04/23) #5 in Betrayal (25/01/24) #1 in Plottwist (21/05/24) #1 in Guns (09/02/25)

"You know, it won't physically hurt you to be nice for once." I crossed my arms in front of my chest and groaned. "I don't want to take a chance." the corner of his lips lifted a little as he finished his sentence. "Well, you don't hear me complaining. The view of a someone so desperately working out is not a delight either." I retorted in a weary voice. "I bet it isn't." he narrowed his eyes at me and commented. Ugh.. Why is he so damn annoying? "You know what, just take your arrogant ass out of my room." I scowled at him, pointing towards the door. With small steps, he walked towards me. I took a step backwards when he neared me. He was invading my personal space, making me a bit flustered. The urge to push back his golden-brown hair covering his forehead was increasing with every passing second. "Gladly." he mumbled against my face and then walked past me out of my room. It took me a minute to calm down my racing heartbeat. ... He was a mystery, an enigma I wanted to solve. He was exhausting, he was infuriating, yet staying away from him was not an option. He was making me feel things I haven't felt before. Adam McArdle! Who are you and what are you doing to my poor little heart? ... #1 in GENERAL FICTION (23-05-2019) #1 in CHICKLIT (21-07-2019)
