(This is a new, prototype story, so, if you guys like the first chapter, I will continue this. I don't know if I will continue Immortal, only due to the fact that I am a bit tapped on ideas for the plot, and this book has the action and fantasy you may/may not come to expect from my book. Anyways, here we go, lads!) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 4 centuries have passed since The Giant War, and with the human's scarcely founded victory at Dawn's Shatter Valley, the giants have retreated to Airtanth, but if only to lick their wounds before attacking the still scarce human race, which numbers almost 240,000 at its numbers, and has migrated to the south at the disappearance of their Shamans and the death of the Jarl of Tangup, who's magic was sacrificed at Dawn's Shatter. For the other races; the dwarves, the elves, the highborn, and even the shunjul, the humans seem pitiful now, and they can do naught but pray their aid. It seems, however, it will never come. But all is not yet lost. High in the Grey Mountains, a young elementalist by the name of Cobalt World-Eye has finished his studies under the dragon Cognitius, and he has been tasked by the great Oracle to find the Shamans of the powerless humans, and rescue them from the evil that sustains their horrific suffering. But has the young mage learned enough? Is he ready for the challenges he will face? Can he survive the corrupting evil?
