Ena Shinonome feels like her life is crumbling. Her art is going nowhere, her family expects too much, and the walls she's built to protect herself are starting to suffocate her. Mizuki Akiyama notices Ena pulling away during Nightcord at 25:00 sessions and tries to reach out, but their own insecurities about being accepted make it hard to truly connect. When Ena's frustration boils over and she lashes out at Mizuki, it forces them both to confront the truths they've been avoiding. Mizuki hides their pain behind a mask of cheerfulness, and Ena buries hers under layers of pride. As tensions rise, they must decide: will they let their fears destroy what could be, or will they learn to trust and heal together?

They've known for a while now. Well, perhaps they'd always known, just kept it tucked away like a dirty little secret, in order to keep some semblance of control, to simply breathe- It couldn't have lasted. Friends, a normal life, a normal self. Icarus fell after flying too close to the sun. Maybe it was the same for Mizuki too. Everything ends and everyone always leaves. "Ooi, ooi, wanna tell them? Akiyama's dirty little secret is so disgusting no one would still want to be friends after hearing it." And like a coward, they run. It's all they ever do, really. But it was over, wasn't it? Prince Tsukasa Tenma had always been very proud to serve his own kingdom. He was adored and admired by his people, and he got the honour to protect them not only as their prince, but as the head of their knights force, he brought light to his kingdom, as if he was a radiant star that could never burn itself out. Presenting himself more as a friend than a higher class, he had made many friends and was grateful for every opportunity that they had given him as their prince, and friend. Prince Rui Kamishiro, on the other hand, was the polar opposite of that of the prince of light. He despised his role as a prince, constantly wanting to run away from his responsibilities to live a life with no restraints. However after an incident that had occured when he had once tried that, Rui drowned himself in the darkness of his own kingdom and began to accept his role as its ruler. He was feared by most of his kingdoms residents, and cared not for in-formalities from those who he did not share an original bond with. Perhaps all they needed was each others presence to balance their qualities? This is a Project Sekai multi-ship fantasy au fan-fiction, focusing around Ruikasa!
