He won't cry until the battle, when he's falling through the air, when it settles in just how real it is that he's going to die, because yeah, the doctor warned him this would happen, but there's always been a part of Izuku that thought he'd live forever. Izuku Midoriya had had enough of the world's obvious bias against him. Since the arrival of All Might crime rates have decreased significantly in Japan, but there's still one problem hero's are unable to do anything about. Corruption in the government has led to the increase of child trafficking, so much so that any child is lucky to not have been kidnapped by the age of 6. What hero's are unable to do though is easily done by the vigilante Karma, a hero to the people. After his dream is finally crushed, Izuku isn't quite sure there's anything left for him to live for, but...he can't exactly kill himself either, not without hurting the people he cares the most about. So, when he realizes that the quirkless can't technically be vigilantes, it seems like the best of both worlds. He'll be able to save people even without being a hero and, if he happens to die while he's at it...well, like Kacchan said, maybe he'd be born with a quirk in the next life. NOT MY STORY! Time: something that means everything and nothing. Izuku knew this. He knew how important and precious it was. He knew how dangerous it could be. Yet, he still tries to change it. Deku was a quirkless boy who nearly gave up on his dream, but Bakugo convinced him to continue.
