Luz has went to camp and when she came back she didn't act any different, she still didn't get one friend so her mother (Camila) changed. She got aggressive/abusive with Luz and school doesn't help, the second day of school comes and before Luz leaves she runs away and finds a house. Luz runs into it and turns out it took her to the boiling isles. But Luz has changed, she was mean, quiet, hostile and had mad trust and anger issues she also developed Hemophobia (fear of blood) and Traumatophobia (fear of having an injury). When joining Hexside the girls there were mean and harsh like the kids at her human school, but Luz learned how to stick her ground there at her human school. Luz would stand her ground and be mean to literally everyone that got in her way. Halloween is easily Luz's favourite holiday - Scary costumes, free candy, and a day where being weird is a good thing? What's not to love! As it begins to reach that time back on the Human Realm, however, she learns the Boiling Isles has not a holiday, but an irregular force of nature known as called 'Valeween', where the Witches and Demons of the Isles gather together, share food, and... Board up their houses and windows. Why is everyone so scared of this day? Why have the trees gone black? And why is Amity so on edge?

No childhood, no family, no friends. After a rather rough childhood of being a foster child and being moved around the whole country, Luz reaches a new family, a new city, everything looks like she can start fresh. But neither her new mom Eda, nor the little town in the midwest seems to be just ordinary and as her past mistakes slowly grasp at her, as the world around begins to let down its masquerade, she can't longer outrun her past.

In this AU the titan left behind two eggs instead of just one, and Luz was in the other one that hatched six years before King.
