!!NO SMUT!!! Nina Madduri has her whole life planned out. Straight A's, perfect scores, and a future she's worked for every single day. She doesn't have time for distractions - especially not the smug, spoiled boy who always seems to be one step ahead of her. William (Liam) Cheung thinks Nina tries too hard. She's uptight, obsessed with grades, and way too competitive for her own good. He's never met anyone who gets under his skin like she does - and he kind of hates that she's the only person who can actually keep up with him. At their elite private school, they've been rivals since day one. Both being the top students, just fuels the hatred for one another. But when they're both chosen to go along with specific hand picked students for a special academic trip to Europe, things start to shift. Late nights studying, shared glances they can't explain, and arguments that end a little too close start to change how they see each other. Somewhere between the competition and the chaos, Nina starts to realize that maybe Liam isn't just her biggest rival - and William can't stop thinking that losing to her might not be the worst thing in the world.

Taken from the song "i miss your warm hands" by i don't like mirrors. This story follows two people- and the smell of smoke, and love, and everything they couldn't have. Lynette is loud, happy, and bright. She laughs with her whole chest. She loves recklessly, like the world's about to end. Sometimes, she wishes it would. She's always up for anything, as long as it means she doesn't have to sit still too long. As long as it means someone is holding her hand. Even if it's the wrong one. That's when she meets Ronan- quiet, unreadable, and unhappy, He talks like every word costs him something. He smokes too much. Thinks too much. Feels things he'll never say out loud. And still, she falls. Despite what her friends say. Despite the way his eyes are always somewhere else. She falls in love. Again, and again. They don't make sense. She says too much, he says nothing. She wants forever. He wants the moment. But his hands are warm, even when the rest of him is cold.
