Lost is book about a girl named Maya. Maya is the most popular girl in school. Everyone excepts the best from her. A new guy a week. But then she meets Austin. Austin has a special effect on Maya. He doesn't just want her for her body. Maya faces two problems, one not so big and the other super important. The first is that Austin is a super geek and everyone else doesn't think she should be around him. The important one is that just after Maya meets Austin she finds out her parents were killed in a fire at a local Starbucks. Maya makes up this make believe world where everything is okay and she always makes things seem okay. In the process of all this Maya starts to lose her real personality. She starts to turn into the meanest girl at her school. Austin notices and starts to think that he was wrong about her. Personally I think I have based some of this story on my own personal experiences. Hope you like it!
