Hiccup and Toothless managed to escape Horas' clutches; but the war is far from over. In the dead of night, Horas attacks the Isle of Edon with his dragon army; with a goal of taking Edon for his glory. Edon, left in impending doom, now faces a dangerous fate. A traitor is among them who seeks vengeance against the boy and his Night Fury. Two years later, Hiccup and Toothless grows accustomed to their new life and explores new lands they'd never come across before. When word spread about his good deeds, Hiccup is on the run when dragon hunters wants him and Toothless. A traitor is in the midst who plans to harm those who Hiccup cared about. What if Hiccup lived his entire life with dragons instead of vikings? Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, son of Stoick the Vast, had never known the comfort of man. His mother had been taken by a dragon before he could be born among vikings. Growing up in a isolated fortress with his mother and loyal Night Fury, Toothless, Hiccup learns what it feels to live as a dragon would. His whole world has been revolved around his mother and best friend. That world will change forever when Hiccup is thrusted into the Dragon-Viking war after a mysterious man attacks the only home he knew. Tensions will rise, bonds will be tested, and when Stoick discovers his long-lost son, Hiccup will have to make the ultimate decision: choose his own kind or live amongst the creatures he sought to protect.

Gobber couldn't convince Stoick to let Hiccup into the ring for dragon training, but situation gets complicated, when Hiccup faces a Monstrous Nightmare during a raid again. Except this time things go very differently thanks to certain black dragon. Over time an unbreakable bond is formed between two lonely souls.

How would the story go if Hiccup had been taken by Cloudjumper instead of Valka? What if Hiccup was raised by the dragons, in the ice sanctuary, for twenty years? Until one day, he finds himself stuck on Berk. Discoveries are made, new friends are found, and Hiccup's life changes significantly. Will he go back home to the ice sanctuary and forget about Berk? Hiccup was always considered the weakling of the village, he was bullied, pushed around and beaten up by all the other teens, even his cousin and the girl he loved. but it was only until one day when he shot down a night fury the most feared dragon in the whole archipelago, the so called offspring of lightning and death itself. But when he couldn't kill the dragon he took the other option... and trained it. him and toothless were the best of friends but one day when he is chosen to kill the monstrous night mare in dragon training , he can't handle it so he runs away on the back of toothless, but only for the two to be snatched up by dragons. but 5 years later when hiccup returns to Berk, he is not the hiccup they all once knew.

After a raid that almost cost him his life, Hiccup tries to gain the village's trust and their forgiveness for unintentionally injuring three young children. With a reputation of being a nuisance to his village, Hiccup wished things were different. Neglected by his own tribe,and his own father, Hiccup begins to fall into depression. His life changes when he encounters a dragon in the woods- the legendary night fury. Determined, he tries to shoot it down and finally make his chief father and the village proud. When he couldn't give himself to kill a dragon, Hiccup learns dragons aren't as bad as they seem.
