In the chaos of war, some battles are fought with steel -- others with the soul. Admiral Arden Lexington was raised by vengeance. After witnessing pirates slaughter her family, she devoted her life to hunting them down as part of the International Pirate Hunters Fleet -- a powerful naval militia loyal to no crown, only to the Admiral who leads them. Hardened, brilliant, and feared across the sea, Arden is a force few dare challenge. But when a man from her past-Master of Arms, James Morgan -- is pulled from the wreckage of a sunken ship and placed under her command, Arden's world begins to fracture. The boy who once slipped into her heart has returned a man -- and with him, a quiet defiance against the life she's sentenced herself to. He doesn't judge her past-he dares her to imagine a future beyond it. As enemies gather and betrayals surface, Arden must decide what kind of legacy she wants to leave behind-one carved in vengeance, or one built on hope.

Luke Skywalker, the Last Jedi, faces his toughest challenge yet. To rebuild the Jedi Order, he must give up his personal hopes and dreams. Every move is critiqued by not only the New Republic Senate but also the Force-ghost Jedi Council of the past. His sister's tumultuous marriage and unplanned pregnancy, disillusionment with the Jedi Code, and a sinister Empire that will not admit defeat all compound as Luke establishes the Jedi Academy. Join him as he battles the darkness within himself, discovers the origins of the Jedi, and fulfills his destiny pursuing compassion above all else. The one thing that a Jedi is forbidden may be the only thing that saves him and the galaxy. (A fan reboot set between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens in the tradition and style of the Original Trilogy.) TRIGGER WARNINGS: Luke suffers from PTSD after the Emperor's Force-lightning attack, which is limited to his reliving the experience. There is discussion about past history for a few characters in slavery and ensuing abuse, but nothing in real time and nothing graphic. The focus is on healing. They say the gods are dead. In New Haven, one just woke up in a girl who never asked to be chosen. Beneath the acid-slick skies of a drowned canyon city, where advan-core tech pulses through rusted ruins and the air itself could kill you, a band of teenage misfits does what no one else dares: steal from High Haven. WILLOW, rebel leader and five minutes older than her chaos - wired twin, CANYON, is only supposed to hijack a mystery shipment. Simple job. In, out, vanish. But inside the armored airvan isn't tech or credit chips - it's a god's heart. A living godpiece. And it chooses her. Now her veins burn black, her mind fractures with divine whispers, and something ancient is using her body as a conduit. The power could save New Haven - or destroy it. It's also killing her. Enter NOA - a silver-tongued smuggler with a hidden past, war scars, and too many knives. She's from High Haven, and her loyalty flickers like a glitch. She says she wants to help the Scarves. Canyon doesn't trust her. But Willow? She can't stop looking at her. As revolutions ignite and monsters stir beneath the city, New Haven teeters on the edge of collapse. The godpiece is changing everything. And something older than memory is waking up in the deep. Would you betray your blood to save the woman you love? Would you burn a city to save the world? Grab your scarf. The canyon's calling. Are you ready to answer? - This story contains mature themes, graphic violence, and strong language. Recommended for older teen readers (16+) and above -
