Or would others plan to invade and finish what they started. From the Axis Powers to the Central Powers, To dynasties to empires. How would the current countries react to this sudden change? Countries currently having controversies will not be added in the book, I don't want to start fights so different countries have taken their role in the story. On May 22, 1939, Italy joined the Axis Powers. But as his fascist government crumbles and the illusions of grandeur begin to wear off, he begins to wonder if he's fighting for the right side of the war. Invasions fail. Forces are decimated. And then his leader is dead. Sick of the Axis and sick of defeat after crushing defeat, on October 13, 1943, Italy declared war on Germany.
