Tomioka doesn't talk to the hashira at all he will talk to the master and that is it. Most of the hashira respect Tomioka's silent wishes to not talk to him and stay away from him. Though Shinobu wishes he interacts more with the others and she picks on him to try to get some sort of emotion. There is also Sanemi who wants Tomioka to show some emotion and act like a "normal" person so he threateneds him.

The next day Sanemi explains it was a one time thing and threatens Tomioka to never talk about it, but one problem Giyuu had feelings for Sanemi and sleeping with her only made them grow. Well besides that. Sanemi was in a car accident and was put into a coma. Or that is what the people around him think. Sanemi did get into a car accident but not in a coma. When he went to the hospital and certain being who was a nurse started to use him as a blood supply because they were a vampire. He was stuck in a weak not conscious state having to deal getting fed on for 3 years, until he finally gained the strength he needed and tried to run away and was almost caught but somehow ran into another vampire who was there to kill the nurse vampire. There was a fight and Sanemi was grabbed by the nurse vampire and she was trying to turn him into one as well, but right as that happened she was killed. Something changed in Sanemi and the vampire who saved him teaches him how to deal with the changes on his body.

In a modern AU where Giyuu and Sanemi are soulmates, and people can feel the same emotions and physical pain as their significant other, which only increases in intensity the closer they get in proximity. -Sanemi wants to meet his soulmate, but tries to remain focused on his family and education, knowing his mom and siblings need him now more than ever. Giyuu, however, doesn't want to meet his soulmate out of fear of losing another person, but he can't deny the loneliness he feels. Will they let fate bring them together? Or will they remain as just strangers? I'm just writing anything that comes into my mind at this point, was looking at pictures of SaneGiyuu and the song My Humps by the Black Eyed Peas started to play and I instantly thought of Giyuu working out shirtless and Sanemi staring at him and wanting him. Sanemi has been going to the gym for a long time, he usually would go at a certain time but due to work he had to change his schedule and he had to go earlier, so when he goes in the morning he sees something that caught his attention, it is a guy who is really pretty and well built. Sanemi finds him attractive and he makes Sanemi have bi-panic, like the guy is a whole 5-star meal. So Sanemi gets to know him and learns his name is Giyuu Tomioka and the rest after that is obvious.
