I'm writing this story based on the Anime, I never read the manga or the novel. Despite the title, the story introduces a vast expansion in the world and lore of gate as well as changes, but everything remains true to the Gate formula. At first It was supposed to be only a Gate X Marine fanfic but over time it developed into an alternative plot line diverging from the original so don't be surprised why the first season strictly sticks to canon.

The UNE quickly deploy its forces and push them back into the gate. As news of the attack broasdcasted through out UNE territory, the people demand retribution. Thus the UNE went for vengence. This work of fanfiction is inspired by "GATE: Thus The JSDF Fought There" using ideas from many other science fiction stories, fanfictions and movies as well as games. The story will follow with the original novel and eventually deviate from it.

Losing their peaceful European neighbours, Italy finds that to the north of the Alps lies the great Parpaldian Empire, feared by many, if not all by those in the region. With the goal of establishing new relations, Italy is determined to get friendly with Parpaldia, even if the Empire's arrogance may hinder its progress. Until the peninsula finds new friendlier trading partners, Italy and Parpaldia find themselves on a circular dependency of trade. A fanfiction of the original story Summoning Japan.
