In this movie after the events of the Anime Arc and Desti is still alive after Y/n managed to save her life from Francis and a clone of Sephiroth, Meggy and Desti decided to work together to win the Splatfest Finals together after winning the war on Anime Island and Y/n becoming the new ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom.
