A single oil lamp cast a faint, flickering glow, but its warmth was swallowed by the cold, heavy air. In the center of the room, two figures stood locked in a tableau of cruelty. Bondita, a vision of bridal beauty, was adorned in a resplendent red and gold Bengali saree, its intricate work a stark, tragic contrast to her terrified posture. A heavy veil, meant to be a symbol of modesty, clung to her head, concealing her face and making her seem like a faceless victim. Behind her, like a dark, looming shadow, Aniruddh stood in a golden kurta, his face turned away from the light. The gold, a symbol of divine blessing, looked like a mockery in his form. His hand was a vise on Bondita's shoulder, his fingers digging into her flesh, his knuckles white with suppressed rage. His other hand was at her neck, his thumb pressing cruelly into her windpipe. He was not embracing her; he was imprisoning her. The golden kurta seemed to glow with a false, sinister light, illuminating the stark contrast between the beauty of the bride and the darkness of her groom.

This is after manorama track. After manorama leaves , Anirudh asks forgiveness from bondita. She forgives him but the incident leaves a deep scar in her little heart. She meets her thakuma who reveals her past to bondita. Thakuma tries to get anidita divorced to get revenge from trilochan but fails. This angers the roy choudhary family and a rivalry starts between the two families like in the serial. Anirudh falls in love with his little wife while bondita is still insecure of their relationship. What do you think will happen?

No matter how much he planned for her future, how much he fought the society, to save her from the ill effects of the one sided child marriage, his Bondita fell into the trap. The one thing he never planned for her, the one thing he over looked became her downfall. To save her from the one and only person he counted on to never hurt his little wife, himself.

after the divorce of Anirudh and Bondita, Bondita started slipping into depression. She stopped talking and laughing with everyone, stopped Breaking the rules, and stopped debating with people at every chance she could get. all this was very concerning to Thaku Maa because she knew this wasn't the same Bondita who had fought for the educational rights of her sisters with Rimjhim and Shomik. Thakuma realised that Bondita needed to be pulled out of this mental condition, as all the things that had happened to her in the past had finally caught up with her and were affecting her greatly. Thakuma knew that only one person in the whole world could get her out of this world of Darkness that she had immersed herself into and that was her childhood best friend from London.
