Chance didn't like how the story of Dreamtale became. So in one of his famous break ins, he decides to do another flip you at Fate by giving the twins something they didn't have before. Or more accurately Nightmare. Chance may or may not have changed the spirit of Dream with another in his escape attempt. One that was still living. In a dying multiverse, the death of Nightmare and Error unintentionally creates a new entity; Whisper. Born of destruction and negativity, the new god is thrown into another multiverse where they must learn to find their way forward. NOTE: This world is set in my own multiverse. There are elements of Empireverse, such as the Sun and Moon Kingdom ruled by the dreamtale twins, but also other elements such as deities and fae-like entities.

Ink wasn't really sure how much someone needed to lose before they could say they lost everything. Ink hadn't lost a lot, if he had to list it all. But then again, he never had much to begin with. A nameless, empty AU, and a job he had no real part in. All he really had- all he truly cherished- was his friends. There were other things, such as Broomie or his colours, but most importantly, there was his friends. Blue and Dream. Dream and Blue. In the end, they were all that truly mattered. The thing he would give everything up for. Ink didn't really have a lot. But he could say he lost everything. His death had been undramatic and easy, all things considered. Ink wouldn't say he was content with dying- never content- but he hadn't felt too horrible about it either. He hadn't expected to wake up. Wake up to before everything fell apart. To many, the word Paladin means defender of the faith, a protector, someone that will be your knight in shining armor, ready to save you... To me, it means something different...
