Sonic spotted Shadow outside of the village one day. Curious, he decided to follow him to see what is up with the dark hedgehog. After finding out the reason why Shadow likes being alone in that one particular cave, he decided to stick around and company him. Tails loved Halloween. He loved the overused skeleton decorations that lay around the grass of someone's front lawn. Some hanging by string, hovering above the gravestones that displayed names of random strangers who he had never heard of. He even loved the simple task of scooping out guts from a pumpkin, spoon quickly forgotten when hands desperately grasped at the organs. Oh, and how could he forget the iconic color duo which always gave him a headache after passing by. The annoyingly bright orange clashed horribly with the black, yet somehow it worked. Not to mention how little of a selection the "Costume Shop" had to offer. The same old outfits continued to cycle every year; however, still exciting the young fox who was desperate to find the right one just for him. Despite his ridiculously long list of aspects that bugged him about the famous holiday, Tails was obsessed. He had always been! However, this year... OR Tails is going through puberty and Sonic doesn't know what to do. Shadow actually helps, for once. Sonic and his rival share intimate moments. Rouge and Knuckles are idiots in love. His brain was blank and blood ice cold, the world around him spinning. It had its talons on him, the incurable disease of humiliating love. But what could he do? He was in love with him, and he didn't love him back. - Sonic had known Shadow for as long as he could remember. They had fought as enemies, as allies, as friends and foes alike. He wasn't entirely aware of the deep pining he was growing inside to be with him, to be near him. Not until he coughed up a few petals. Now faced with the crushing reality of his situation, Sonic's options are limited. With each passing day, the weight inside him grew, threatening him with the ever present knowledge that he was going to die. He could only do one thing. Keep it all a secret.

What was meant to be a simple rescue mission turns out to be a week-long trek across an island as Sonic and friends race to fix their powers. Knuckles and Rouge address the elephant in the room. The winter season this year had started off easy, with only a few inches of snow. But right when springtime seems to be peaking around the corner, a huge snowstorm hits, causing all the Mobians in the city to be snowed in. They hate each other, down to the very guts, but as the mission continues and they become lost in the wilderness, they must work together to survive the deadly harshness of the rainforest and the mysterious creature following them. I decided to start posting the chapters on wattpad as well for the readers that I have here and also because it seems Sonadow is pretty popular on here as well.
