I was inspired by the fan fiction Nest of love by rosette on AO3, and decided to make my own. Harry goes through a rougher than normal beating from his relatives before they leave him and go on vacation. This beating was so bad Harry's magic couldn't keep up and as a last attempt to save his life activated a rare gene deep in his blood. in doing so he sent out a beacon to two beings harry's magic deemed safe for him through a realistic Patronus sent out by his magic. In doing so this sent harry to a place that would heal him, and provide what he always wanted. A family.

Harry comes back for his 6th year at Hogwarts. First tho he has to escape from 4 Privet Drive sounds like the perfect place to live when your parents were killed as a baby. Wrong, Harry's aunt, uncle and cousin, Petunia, Vernon and Dudley are abusive towards Harry. Hogwarts has decided to introduce dorms and there are no houses. Harry thought his worst nightmare was having to go home to his abusive aunt, uncle and cousin but this may be his worst nightmare ever. Despite their differences he may have found a person who understands him better than his friends even do.
