Iris and Clove were forced to compete in the 75th annual hunger games quarter quell. They were spilt up when Beetee came up with a plan that would kill the other tributes. But as soon as Iris heard a cannon panic set in as she searched for Clove only to find the wire by itself. In search of Clove a unexpected explosion happened sending Iris flying, darkness overcoming her. She woke up in a hovercraft with loads of people around her that she didn't recognize and didn't answer her questions. So now she is left in the darkness all alone with questions in her head. But the o great President Snow has decided that there will be a quarter quell. Iris got through her last games with Clove by her side, she was the only thing that got her through the hard times. What if Clove didn't get picked, or even worse what if Iris didn't get picked and had to watch Clove die. Last games were child's play, all these people are experienced with the games. They have all been through the trauma. But the trauma hit Iris really hard when she got back home. The only thing keeping her happy was the thought of seeing Clove again and being able to hold her. I really enjoyed writing the first book and I really hope you enjoyed it too. Well you must've enjoyed it because you are here reading the second one. Iris is a girl from district 5 (you can make her look like whatever you want)she wasn't as big and strong as she looked but she wasn't a small puny little girl either. She didn't have very many friends because people said she looked mean and would kill Them if anyone even tried talking to her. So most of the time she was with her mom doing chores. She lost her dad at the young age of 6. She never thought her life would take this big of a turn.
