(This is a rewrite/alternate universe of season 3 and the beginning of my headcanon series!) Will they stay true to their mission, or will they falter when Kion starts to become something he's not and will a long-kept childhood secret finally be revealed when faced with a lone cheetah and a future lioness Queen?

A coalition of Cheetahs facing the loss of a good friend at the paws of a rogue Lion Pride is at breaking point. Their leader Akida is faced with a difficult decision when a Lion cub is found by one of the coalition's hunting parties. What will this leader do to keep his coalition, his mate and more importantly his newborn daughter safe from danger? Follow the lives of Kion and Fuli as they begin in a new era far from the Pride Lands. Will it be easy for the young Lion as he learns to be a part of a coalition that all see him as the enemy, or will he need the support of his adoptive mother, his best friend and her mother as he faces the hardships of being the odd one out? Will Fuli relish and adjust to the coalition, especially under her father's rigid rules for her as the next in line to be chieftess, or will her urge to leave and continue the journey of a lone cheetah be too tempting?

Kion and Kiara had a terrible accident. After seeing Rafiki for both healing and therapy, Kion still gets nightmares about the day of the accident and even gets triggered by seeing cliffs and lower grounds. In this story happening in season 1 of TLG, we follow Kion how he deals with his trauma and his bond with his sister. He's physically healed quite quickly, but he needs a lot of mental support. Will Kion get through this? Read to find out! It's a hard story to write, since I don't have any experiences with traumas or things like that. Therefore I hope this story makes sense. Kion, who was born in a time of conflict after both his parents died, and left him and Kiara with crippling duties desperately trying to uphold their kingdom, slowly has his frayed edges become more and more undone as time passes. Set in an alternate universe, so keep in mind there will be a lot of differences to canon.
