"It's unlike any paranormal book I've read--very smart, very fresh, and very addictive, and very still in my mind." –And Anything Bookish In 1692, when witch trials gripped the community of Salem, Massachusetts, twenty-six children were accused as witches, exiled, and left for dead. Fourteen of them survived. The Survivors is the first installment of the tantalizing tales of the fourteen ill-fated Survivors and their descendants, who have been content in hiding for over three centuries. Isolated on a Montana mountainside, only Sadie, the rogue daughter, dares to abandon the family’s sacred hiding place. But no matter how far Sadie runs, something always pulls her back. On a muggy summer night in Tennessee, she witnesses a shocking scene that will change her life forever. It is the first in a sequence of events that will drag her from the human world she’s sought to belong to for over a century and send her back to her Puritanical family. Sadie is thrown toward an uncertain future filled with cunning witches, mysterious nosferatu shape-shifters, dangerous eretica and vieczy vampires, millennia-old mythology, and the search for her own mortality. After all… HOW DO YOU KILL A SURVIVOR? The Survivors will steal your heart and invade your mind. Fall into the pages of Sadie’s life, a world so frighteningly similar to your own, you’ll find yourself wanting to go to the Montana mountains to find the Survivors for yourself. And it is only the beginning. "The way Ms. Havard has taken the history of the Salem witches and made it her own is truly fascinating... great debut from a talented writer." –DJ DeSmyter, author of Hunted “[THE SURVIVORS is a…] promising debut and an incredibly unique paranormal romance. Unputdownable, engaging, realistic and dark..." –Fragments of Life Review Blog Can't wait to read the whole story? The future, 2400, is not the technology abundant world we imagined it. Flying cars and artificially intelligent robots aren’t given a second thought when you have to use every brain cell for survival. In 2409, Crimson Fog, one of the largest, strongest gangs, had some trouble with a group who believed themselves to be ‘gang resistance’. A small group of idiots who wanted the old ways back. After a few deaths and plenty of beatings, they surrendered. Two orphans were left with Crimson. The Crimson Orphan, Jax, sixteen in 2423, was raised to become one of the world’s best gunslingers. One of her greatest challenges was high school.

Hailey's life has been pretty normal and trouble free so far. If you categorise growing up with your all-male neighbours trouble free... After coming back from Australia to the US of A she comes back to more than just her home. She comes back to find that the McLane boys have know grown up into a family of 9 boys ranging from super hot to just plain adorable. What do you do when you're thrown back into the chaos that the McLane's call normal life? How do you deal with living among a male-dominated household? Is there a way to make a waterproof camera NOT water proof? Hailey may not have all the answers and she may be wondering these exact questions herself but join her anyway as she goes through the ups and downs of being a teenage girl hopelessly stuck in a life that's anything but normal. A/N: The first few chapters aren't really that good and the story may seem a bit slow at the start but it does get better if you keep reading! I got the main idea for my story from the book "Megan Meade's Guide to the McGowan boys" and I also put in a few of my own experiences in too! (Only SOME things in here have happened to me, not everything!) Also! I am Australian.... sooooo if I get some facts wrong about how things go in the US i'm sorry! Thanks for all the support everyone! :) Luv u all xxStephxx

Gracie May Howards is a brat. She's mean, and she not very smart at all. But she has that personality that's strong that you can't say no to. She is rather naive when it comes to guys. She really doesn't know anything about love, about accomplishments, and feeling good about what you do, until she meets her arrogant, rude, straight forward, mean Tutor.
