The Woodland Elves remained in Middle Earth by the urging of Galadriel to oversee the dominion of man and the fulfillment of this prophecy under the continued rule of King Thranduil and Prince Legolas of Mirkwood. For the nine generations following the destruction of The One Ring the houses of Rohan and Gondor have only produced male heirs. They are waiting in hope for a daughter so that the two could unite through marriage and fulfill the prophecy. This story follows the life, love and decisions made by that very daughter.

When an Elf comes along whose union with her would secure a near-perfect political benefit for her people, her father agrees to let her be courted despite her loathing of the man. Unexpected problems arise when Altariel accompanies the Fellowship of the Ring on the first leg of their journey and finds herself falling for the kindhearted prince who she had refused to marry in years past. Thranduil's face loomed closer as he leaned down. Their eyes were locked, and Alina saw his darken almost imperceptibly with unknown emotions. Noses brushing again, her eyes closed and she instinctively tilted her head up to him. His cool breath fanned her face, and her heart quickened. "Don't be afraid to ask for help, my dear." Startled, Alina's eyes flew open, only to see Thranduil, a smirk on his face and the baskets in his hands. His eyes gleamed with laughter as he turned to walk away, leaving Alina with a burning face and a racing pulse. Alina is a normal college student on her first study abroad course when something goes horribly wrong. She finds herself immersed in the world of elves and drawn to their cold-hearted leader. Is his heart to cold for her to melt or is there hope?

Although Allísa grew up in a Hobbit home but she wasn't a hobbit, in fact she was an elf. A royal elf for that matter. Though Allísa lived with Bilbo Baggins she wasn't a Baggins either. When a strange grey wizard stops at her uncles door, he invites them both on an adventure. not knowing what they were getting into they eventually agreed. She never thought about love, that was until she met a certain black haired dwarf, who wasn't like the others. He was caring and funny, however on certain occasions quite flirty. However very handsome. There adventure across middle-earth is dangerous and life threatening, they come across goblins, orcs, dragons and giant spiders. Making new friends along the way such as Legolas and Bard. What will happen when her love for a dwarf gets in her way of war? Can she cope when her heart shatters or will she sacrifice herself to save her loved ones and once again be reunited with the love of her life? Do they all survive the dangerous quest ahead of them? I do not own any of the characters they belong to J. R. R Tolkien, however i only own Allisa and her backstory/story.

Dwarves. What brutes. What insufferable beings. Legolas despised them all, and having to sit beside them at the great meeting in Rivendell to discuss the enemy's growing return was something that didn't sit well with him. But what was even more surprising than the fact that the once lost Ring was in their presence was seeing the woman seated amongst the Dwarves.
