Bella went to visit her Edward after their high school graduation. But, instead, she visited Carlisle. Soon after, she realized, she was in love. She had found her true mate, the only man that could make her whole.

Carlisle has been in the states for a couple years. Bella is a known patient at the hospital. Carlisle treats Bella and then she disappears. Five years pass when Bella comes in again; this time with serious injuries. Carlisle treats her once again this time not letting her leave. What happens when things get bad?
