I stared at the two hellish looking creatures that had welcoming grins on their faces, if you put aside they fangs that poked out under their upper lips. "Say that again?" I asked, raising my eyebrows. "You signed the contract from hell, we are your faithful servents." The tall one nodded. "I didn't sign shit." I scoffed, starting to shut the door. "Actually, Miss Alyson, you did." The shorter one said as he shoved a paper into my hand as his foot stepped between the doorway. I grabbed the paper from his hands, frowning as my eyes glanced over it. It was my hand writing. I opened the door back up, scowling at the two. "May we come in, Miss Alyson?" The taller cocked his head, the smile still very intact. "No." I huffed as I slammed the door, quickly locking it.

Your tail flicks behind you and you stepped out of the pool, droplets fall from your silver mask and onto the floor, creating a small puddle underneath you. You turn your attention to look at the three people that are seated on a higher platform. Sister imperator on the left, Papa Nihil on the right. And 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐚 in the middle, you bow towards them as a greeting, hiding the urge to shiver at the cold air hitting against your soaked body. Or was it under the cardinal's stare that filled with curiosity? A fellow sister of sin walks over and passes you a white towel and started wiping the floor that you have accidentally spilled onto. As she finishes, she bows nervously to the three higher up and turned towards you for the towel. Before you do, you gave her a bow as gratitude. She looks surprised as she smiles at you, waving her hand as she spoke. "No worries! You're on a higher title than me, so there's no need to bow." You frowned behind the mask, your tail tapping against the tiled floor in disapproval. She giggles as she opened her palm in front of you, signalling for the towel. You shook your head as you handed her the silver stained cloth to the sister, wondering if it's washable. The cardinal smiles at the sight, it looked like the sister of sin is asking her pet animal for a handshake. However it was interrupted by someone clearing their throat. The owner of the voice stood up and walks over to you. The sister of sin bows her head, "Good day sister imperator!" Before scurrying away, you bow towards sister imperator as she nods her head at you. Grabbing your clawed hands as she clasps them together, like a praying pose. But with her hands over yours. She muttered in a unfamiliar language as she spoke a blessing before opening her eyes. Sister imperator gestures you towards the crown of brothers and sisters, "All hail the new ghoul assistant of the church, . . . Mercury." 20th of Oct 2022

A Ghost x F!OC story. Paradox is a pretty normal girl in a regular neighborhood. She one day attends her first ritual. After the ritual she starts noticing herself acting strangely. Her teeth are getting sharper and stronger and she's faster than ever. She also have a huge craving for meat, which goes so far as desiring to eat the pigeons out on the dirt covered streets... ...What the hell is wrong with her? [This story will start during the end of the Meliora/start of Popestar and will stretch till whatever is currently happening. ] Please inform me of any spelling/grammar mistakes!!]

TL;DR- Rain falls head over heels for you. Long slow burn, fluff, and incredible angst ensues. Eventual happy ending included. Love was not something you or Rain ever understood, whether it be between mother and father, between friends and peers, or between you and the universe. After being shunned by your church for reasons you were not the blame for, a church of the antichrist extended their kindness to help a lost soul. Rain was in the same bin as you, and having to heal from the trauma and abuse you had both suffered in your lives was not a one-day process.
