(Trailer available in the external link.) A twisted fairytale: How far would you go to get your perfect fairytale ending? The prince had managed to find the strange, ethereally beautiful girl who'd fled from that fateful Coronation Ball, with only a single glass slipper left behind as a clue. But what did Cinderella do after she got her Happily Ever-After? She did get it, didn't she? Rae Wyman dreams of a girl, every night. She haunts him with her mellifluous voice, her mesmerizing eyes and her small, arcane smiles, making him yearn for her even though he's never seen her before in his life. Yet there's a strange feeling blossoming inside him every day, a feeling which he can't describe, growing so wild and restless that he doesn't know where his sanity went. Why does it feel like... ...she'd known his weakest point? And had used it to destroy him to a million little pieces? "If I try to touch her, And I bleed, I bleed, And I breathe, I breathe no more." (Evanescence, Breathe No More.) Note: This story is NOT horror and certainly NOT Gothic...well, maybe a little Gothic. :) [ His Evil Cinderella Copyright © Saleha Kamran Afzal 2015] ........................................................................................................................... <Please don't be a silent reader. Once I was a god. Worshiped. Revered. The huddled masses cast themselves at my feet, heads bowed and eyes wide. Save us, they begged. Spare us, they pleaded. And, fool that I was, I tried. Now I am nothing. Fallen. A bitter memory of an age long passed. A broken old fool too stubborn to die. This is my story. My rise, my fall. The pathetic mess, after. Read it. Don’t. I care little. My words are not for you.

Faith Mitchell was never confident. She was happy to blend into the background, much to the protest of her friends. At 16, her life was a normal teenage cliche. She was in love with Jace, the obnoxious player who she couldn't have, and her biggest worry was whether or not he would finally come to his senses and see that she really was the one for him. That is until she is kidnapped and recruited by a secret agency of assassins. She is torn away from her normal teenage life and thrown into a world of guns, knifes and criminals. The agency mold her into the perfect killing machine, and at 19 she is no longer the shy girl that was snatched away from her uncomplicated life, but a ruthless killer who will stop at nothing to complete whatever mission she is on. Then, the agency has a new mission which involves Faith returning to her hometown, and facing her friends, family and the very boy who broke her heart just before it turned into stone. What will happen once Faith comes face to face with Jace? Will the obnoxious player be able to reach out and get the old Faith back without pressing any of her wrong buttons, considering that the shy girl he once knew now has a gun. Facial Hair Confuses Babies. One of a number of random observations from an unprepared, unreliable and neurodiverse parent. This ...er... thingy, diatribe, publication, list, call it what you will is a collection of odd thoughts, random observations and general rubbish from the sleep deprived and generally caffeine-infused brain of a slightly frazzled parent. As with most parents, I'm still growing up alongside my kids and have realised that often they're probably more mature than I am. More intelligent too. Make of it what you will... a paper aeroplane seems like a good idea.... fold here...

Sick of cliché Wattpad books? Then this isn't the book for you. We take every single over-used plot, character and trope on Wattpad - from player-meets-nerd to my-boyfriend-is-a-vampire - and mash it all into one, awful, hilarious parody. NOTE: This is a parody. Characters have not been created to mock a race/nationality/sexuality, they have been created to lightly poke fun at the way certain teen fiction writers reduce them into crude stereotypes. Thanks for helping this pile of junk get to #1 in Humor!
