Moon is still getting to know him. Ruin hears that Solar has come back to life and wants to apologize for his death hoping that Solar will forgive him so they can rekindle their friendship. Instead, it fails successfully by the pumpkin gremlins creating chaos which leads to Ruin unleashing their instinct to take care of children the way he was programmed.
