10 years before the events of War Fever, North America was still functioning as normal as it could, given the war Canada and the US were facing against the first anthro military to arrive in North America through portals. A new anthro force unaffiliated with the first has arrived, leading to the protagonist, a highschooler on his summer break to use what little survival knowledge he's learned from his hunting family to avoid capture and survive in his new, war torn province.

For Rene Sparks, it all began with some ink and a knife. Two dragons, one black, the other one white, appeared from nowhere to adorn her arms when she was only eleven. Their sudden appearance and permanent stains of "imperfection" sent her teetering mother over a cliff of madness to the point where she tried to cut the abominations off Rene's arms. They were the constants in her life, the dragon tattoos and the scars that traced them. And now that they've found each other in the wasteland, Levon's plan is to carry Eve with him across the country to the army shelter in New York that totally exists and will save them both.
