Naruto had a secret growing up, and that being, he is actually a she. Only a few people knew her secret, that being the third Hokage (because he's Naruko's guardian), Hinata (because of her byakugan), and Shikamarou (because of his intelligence). The village elders banish Naruko shortly after she graduates from the academy because the villagers feel unsafe if a jinchurinki is a ninja. She leaves her village and rounds up the other jinchurinki. They all go to Whirlpool country, and Naruko finds out that the Uzumaki clan wasn't destroyed. They were actually in hiding, and Naruko convinced them to come out, and they rebuilt Uzushiogakure. They train Naruko, and she becomes the first Uzukage. She meets Nagato later on, and since he is a Uzumaki, he leaves the Akatsuki to join Uzushiogakure, and to his surprise, all the Akatsuki members follow him eventually because Uzushiogakure seems safer and better for them. At this point, everyone in the leaf was led to believe she committed suicide because she was banished. All the villagers and ninja were happy because of this, but Shikamarou and Hinata knew the real her, so they couldn't hate her at all. In fact, Shikamarou might feel the exact opposite of hate towards Naruko.

Naruto knew what world is like at a young age. His peers like playing the hero. Naruto was always the villian and gets beaten base on how weak he was after having the explosion accident that caused him to grow with a metal shard on his head. He was always the bad guy base on how he looks and suppose to be defeated, because that's what bad guys are meant to be towards heroes and a hero just beat or kill the villian without acknowledging them. Killing was a common thing in life and strong people live and weak people die, it always pissed off Naruto and hate towards shinobies that they could kill for profit.
