Monokuma decided to make the first motive to start the killings, but instead it doesn't go as planned. He had injected Shuichi with something that made him possess more yandere-like traits. (By the way,everyone is trying to figure out how to get out of the dome they are trapped in,there's no killing,Monokuma just traps them their for fun and he's their to watch over them.)
