This is the story of my life and how I came to be in the position I am in. My name is Eliza Christine Bailey, and I recently moved to a small town with my mother to start over after my father, Liam, and mother, Christel, recently got divorced. Growing up, I witnessed my dad repeatedly come back home from bars intoxicated, yelling at my mom, bickering with her, and holding her responsible for everything. All in all, my life hasn't been particularly easy. After my dad would get into disagreements, he would usually leave in the car and return an hour or so later, leaving my mom laying on the bed crying and looking very heartbroken. Watching her in that state killed me. It wasn't until he touched her, shoving her, that she finally decided it was best to end things. She was knocked down, hitting a dresser, and falling on the floor next to fragments of a glass vase. It was around two in the morning that night. My older brother and I both woke up as our mother fell with a huge crash that rattled the walls. While my mom was sitting there crying and appearing much more broken than before, my older brother (21) was undoubtedly the one who reached her sooner and threw himself in between my mother and father.

(Warning kind of gory) Russia absolutely can't stand the sound of America's voice. When America comes over uninvited with a couple of drinks Russia unexpectedly slits America's throat. He isolates America in his home and enjoy's the fact that America can't speak anymore. Although as the months go by America begins to get used to and almost enjoys his forced silence; something Russia can't seem to understand, until he stumbles upon one of America's many written letters. When Russia is trash talked at a meeting he storms out on America during blizzard. They learn that their lonely pain and angst towards the world are not so different.
