Race furrowed his eyebrows. "Conlon. . ." He muttered to himself quietly. "No, no it can't." "What can't?" Blink asked, chewing lazily on the end of a cigar. "Conlon's a common last name, right?" Race asked. "Right?"

When Jack and David Jacobs-Kelly inherited a house that had once been a Newsboys Lodging House the didn't expect it to be haunted. Let alone haunted with the ghosts of a group of Nineteenth Century newsboys. But sometimes there are things that just don't work out the way we plan them.

For Spot Conlon, meeting Albert's deaf foster brother Race was everything. He never had something to be passionate about before, but now he did. And it was Race and the deaf community.

I don't know what to put for the description, but if you know anything about Newsies, the characters, and the storyline, you'll be fine lol. Davey's new and nervous. Jack is cocky and flirty. Davey's book smart. Jack is street smart. Now, they're both Strike Leaders. This is a Canon Era, Soulmate AU. (I do not own Newsies.)

(Based off of 'De-lovely' and 'Anything Goes' from Anything Goes the Broadway Musical. The characters are from Newsies.)

When one of the Newsies wander into an Alleyway, and gets kidnapped by the Delancey brothers, their forced to work FOR Pulitzer, and betray the Newsies. How does that go for everyone? She ran. All the way from Jersey to New York. She ran until she couldn't. She ended up in Harlem. Before she knew it she became the leader. Then a Burrough war Occurred. She had to take matters into her own hands. All the newsies wanted to team up against East-Side.

"Race, what's goin' on? Where 'ave ya been?" Crutchie asked, eyeing the boy with worry. Race ignored him and continued limping to the stairs. "Race, get back over here. Crutch and I stayed up waitin' for ya, the least you can do is tell us where youse been." "I'm fine," Race mumbled, not stopping. Jack quickly stepped forward and grabbed the younger boy's arm, not missing the way he tensed up. "C'mon Race, look at me. What's wrong?" Race slowly turned around, keeping his eyes down with the brim of his hat casting a shadow across his face. "I just had a run-in with a couple of guys who were lookin' for a fight. I got a little beat up. Really, it's nothin'." "It's not 'nothing' Race. You're walkin' worse than I do!" Crutchie exclaimed. Jack grabbed Race's chin and tipped it up and Crutchie gasped. Jack's eyes widened too as he and Crutchie got a glimpse of their brother's face. Crutchie's face turned red with anger, his hand clenching his crutch tightly. "Who did this to you?" *** It's a month after the strike, and everything is going great... until it's not. It starts with small arguments with newsies from the other boroughs, and only gets worse. None of the boys know whats going on, but they're trying to ignore it, until one day something happens that none of them can ignore. A/N: Sorry about the sucky summary, I'm bad at writing those.
