Alex isn't even sure what he is doing here. Sure, he has just been dumped or something and Bea didn't want him to be alone, but it's not like he has any interest in being a part of the fun. He isn't exactly in their friends' group; he is just Bea's brother. And as much as Alex loves Bea, he viciously hates her brother. He is a stuck-up self-righteous prick who thinks he is better than anyone else, just because he is smart or whatever. And Alex isn't even convinced that he actually is smart at all. "Try to be nice, okay?" Alex overhears Bea talking to her brother as they enter the hotel lobby. "Tell him that." Henry mumbles, clearly gesturing towards Alex who casually flips him off with a fake smile plastered to his lips. "Both of you!" Bea raises her voice which doesn't happen all that often and Henry caves. "I'll behave." He mutters in a low voice. "If he stops being an idiot." ___________________________________________ Alex and Henry hate each other. That much is clear to Alex. So, when Nora decides to make them share a room on their trip to Italy, Alex thinks she might have lost her mind. Afterall, there is no one worse than Henry Fox, to be forced to spend time with.

Alex has never been good at making friends, and now that his sister is pursuing a job in Europe, he only has Nora to rely on. Things get even more difficult when Nora starts dating and Alex suddenly finds himself getting dragged into a small group of friends where this handsome British guy makes him question his sexuality. Henry has always been good at finding companionship - for one night at least. He isn't interested in anything more than that. His philosophy is that if you love someone, you'll eventually lose them and get hurt and that his been his approach ever since his father died. But when Alex suddenly appears in his life, things stop making sense to him and he begins to question what he truly wants. This is a Red, white and Royal blue fanfiction, that is inspired by both the book and the movie - in the way that I've used the appearance of Nicholas Galitzine, Taylor Zakhar Perez and the rest of the cast from the movie, but June (from the book) will also be a part of the story. Warnings: This book was my first ever written RWRB fanfic and I have been very unsure if i should upload it or not. I dont feel like it is my best work, but i couldn't get myself to just throw it out, so I decided to give it a try. This is written in a first person point of view, alternating between Henry and Alex every chapter. The story has also swapped the confidence of Alex and Henry, making Henry the one who is well aware of how attractive he is and Alex the more insecure one. furthermore, Henry - in this fic - is a very emotionally closed individual in the beginning, and therefor coming off as a bit of an asshole sometimes.

Alex was back with a few logs he threw in the fire, that instantly started to crackle again, giving off a warm orange glow. Alex appeared in his view, looking down at Henry expectantly.
