Within the land of remnant, there are many tales, and stories. Stories that speak of the heroic deeds of others, and tales that describe what lurks in the night. But the tale we will weave will together, will be one of a hero's shattered spirit. A victim to unrequited love and care, that paid an ultimate price out of the neglect of others. but through new eyes, and new allies to keep him company...he will come forth to save this world...

The first generation of grimm was created by the Brother God of Darkness. Before leaving, he left behind a few grimm kings that would act as overseers of the world's darkness in his absence. These grimm kings later came to be known as Monarchs. There were three Monarchs, The Night Walker, the Kraken and the Queen Nevermore. Unlike the rest of the grimm, these three possess aura, possess intelligence and can procreate. And they ended up proliferating with each other, and had their own bloodlines. The first generation of Monarchs are immortal and undying, hence they still exist to this day but they all live in solitude in a far away place that the humans have no idea about. The current generation of Night Walkers was born and Y/n L/n, was crowned the Wendigo King. Now he goes to attend Beacon Academy and makes a few friends on the way.

But General Ironwood was against this idea, he saw the potential of these reincarnated souls to be turned into the perfect soldiers to fight Salem's army of Grimm, so he decided to continue the experiments behind Ozpin's back, but without Ozpin's knowledge, this won't be an easy task. Year's later we see you, (Y/N), the first "successful" test subject after years of testing and dozens of failed experiments...
