Things are looking up for the Berkians, but Odin has other plans. The return of old faces, results in new enemies and the entire village is put into danger by someone unexpected. Who can the Berkians trust, especially when it now seems that everyone is an enemy? And also, what will come of Astrid and Hiccup's love when a green-eyed monster will do everything in her power to break them apart, claim Hiccup and rule Berk for her own?

Summary Now that they have gone their separate ways, Hiccup and Astrid are trying to live their lives. There's just one tiny detail keeping them tied together. Hiccup already made Astrid the General of Berk. That position is not so easily quittable. Can Hiccup handle chiefing without a chieftess while also having the pressure of the village to find someone he can marry and have a child with? Can Astrid deal with losing her best friend and her new relationship which is not as perfect as it seems. A man who's eyes are empty. This man will be Hiccup and Astrid's most dangerous adventure yet. Will they make it? This is two stories combined so you can just read the first if you want.
