Cette histoire se situe avant les premiers événements du Roi Lion 2. Et elle ne se passera pas du tout sur la Terre des lions. Le lieu ou se passe l'histoire sera mentionné dans l'histoire. À la suite de l'attaque qu'à subit Kopa par Zira, le pauvre petit tomba dans la rivière et dériva, inconscient vers l'horizon et l'inconnu. Lors de son réveille, il a été sauvé par petit lionceau du même âge et qui se prénomme d'Ahika. Kopa ne sait pas où il est, ni combien de temps il était dans la rivière. Il se retrouve dans l'inconnu le plus total.
