Hongjoong loved gazing at the stars, taking in the calming and careless breeze while lying underneath the millions of little lights. But perhaps all he wants in life is to have his own star lying right next to him, looking up to feel the same calming lights, with their hands intertwined.

Hongjoong and Mingi have been together for five years. And Mingi loves him, or at least that's what he always says. It's just that nowadays, everything seems dull... Until he meets a stranger on vacation. And perhaps he shouldn't do it. But, really, he can't help it. It's a one-time-thing, he tells himself. Only one time and then he'll go back to pretending with Mingi. Only one night of the love they lost and then he'll get back to the hell he's living in. But will it really happen only once?

Seonghwa was always the one to be there for Hongjoong if he needed to talk. But never... never has he ever asked for a hug and maybe that concerns Seonghwa more than it should.

Their relationship has always been rocky. Hell, you can't even call it a relationship. They're fuck buddies and roommates, nothing more. But if they're only that, why would they keep on fighting? Why would they keep on screaming and spitting venom in each other's faces? And why would their emotions get all over the place, whether they're together or watching the other talk to someone else, kiss someone else? ~~~~ brividi = shivers

Getting to know Hongjoong has been pretty rocky for Seonghwa. Hongjoong just doesn't know how to tell him that he's learning how to love again already, after only a few months of getting closer. So, he thinks, he has to show him.

Seonghwa has feelings for Hongjoong ever since they met. Now, that they're in Ateez, Seonghwa is probably the only person who understands what Hongjoong is going through. So, they've developed a routine. Late at night, Hongjoong would crawl out of his own bed, walk into Seonghwa's room and lie down on his lap, telling his worries. And maybe, just maybe, looking at Seonghwa's sympathetic face did something to his heart.

"Maybe in another life," Wooyoung found himself saying. "Yeah, maybe in another life," San replied, the coffee in his hands already growing colder. ~~~ Reliving those memories day in and day out probably isn't the best for Wooyoung's mental health. But he couldn't help himself, having to remember that he was the reason why. He didn't think he could ever get over him. And when he suddenly stands right in front of him, he realizes that, yeah, he really could never.

This was their eighth date already. Originally, Hongjoong had something else planned for this day but after seeing Seonghwa down, he wanted to put a smile on his face again. So, Hongjoong just thought he would take Seonghwa to the beach he used to visit with his parents. ~~ He fell in love with the sea. And he now perhaps fell in love with the one standing right in front of him, feet in the sand as he wore the biggest smile while collecting sea shells.

Seonghwa really thought he was doing okay. Until one night he received a message. But could he really trust him again? Was it okay to feel this type of hope and relief? Or; Fragile ruins were all that was left of a once happily beating heart. But would Hongjoong be able to carefully tiptoe on that sensitive ground and pick up each piece to mend it again after trampling it down?
