Espresso Cookie is, and grew up, poor. Thus, you can imagine it came as a surprise to him when he was invited to the Grandberry Masquerade Ball for reasons he wouldn't know. Madeleine, on the other hand, is quite used to things like this. After all, he came up to be a well respected paladin of the Créme Republic. This story is going to have as minimal dialog as possible, and be from the alternating perspectives of Madeleine and Espresso Cookies. I am doing this to challenge my own writing by using as little dialog as I can bring myself to, and by writing in the perspective of two different characters that think very differently. Please keep in mind while reading this that I am a generally new writer. Not to be super egotistical, but whilst I am certainly better then most my age, I am not that great.
