!!This fanfic has MAJOR spoilers from Omori!! Kel is entering high school again with his friends. As little time goes on, the feelings he had for Sunny when they were younger had suddenly returned. How will he deal with these feeling? Things that should be kept in mind: This takes place in the point of view of Kel (So it is 1st person POV), this is a modernized alternative of the main story, and these events are taking place after Mari's death in the real world. Warning: there's a bunch of swears, jokes, timeline mistakes, and spelling/gramatical errors. This story is mainly just me having a good time since I usually prefer making one-shots, but I love and appreciate everyone who reads and enjoys this too!

Everyone except for Sunny's childhood best friend, Kel, who just can't get enough of his presence and closure. (This is very angsty so please don't read this if ur expecting just wholesomeness and fluff. Fluff is included though!)

Kel followed Sunny to the balcony, and caught him in time before falling off. the truth has been told after, and everyone's reaction was really different, but Kel swore to Sunny that no matter what, he'll always stick up with him, and support him. that day, Sunny's mother decided to not sell the house anymore, and so Sunny stayed at Faraway town. a week after leaving the hospital, Kel knocked to Sunny's door... Hero and Aubrey are angry at Sunny and Basil, and still haven't forgave them after 4 months. Basil, nobody knows what he became. WARNING: not a romantic and cute story all the way. (cute and romantic moments are included, but not only based of that.) HEADCANONS: Sunny is Serbian, Kel/Hero are Spanish, Aubrey is just English. Sunny is a bisexual, Kel is too, while Aubrey, Hero and Basil are straight. Sunny's father is abusive toward him ever since he knew so truth about Mari's death, and started to drink alcohol. This is a suntan story :DDDD bc we need to have more of those TW for suicide and self-harm topics be warned Sunny is not surprised after his friends seemingly cut off ties after he confessed the truth. Now alone to face a new surrounding in the big city, while Basil is left to face his friends and their reactions towards him. But all may be not lost when Kel decides to act and tries his best to bring them back together. Despite the arguments, obstacles, and the sheer weight of the truth upon them now, would they be able to mend their friendship?
