Fantasia Barrino, an intersex sculptor known for her hauntingly intimate works, has built her career out of silence-letting marble and clay say what words never could. Her hands know form, tension, and restraint, but her heart remains untouched by anything real.
Then comes Taraji Henson-an enigmatic performance artist whose work thrives on exposure, truth, and the stripping away of masks. When the two are chosen for an exclusive artist residency in New Orleans, their creative worlds collide in a storm of inspiration, conflict, and forbidden desire.
What begins as a collaboration soon turns into an unspoken seduction. One night, through the steam of a shared bathroom, Taraji's reflection catches Fantasia watching her. The moment is wordless, electric-a gaze that says I want without a sound.
As they create together, art becomes confession. The lines between muse and maker blur, and both women are forced to confront what it means to be seen-fully, fearlessly, and without disguise.
But when Fantasia's sculptures start resembling Taraji too closely, admiration begins to feel like obsession. And in a world where art is worship, love can be the most dangerous creation of all.
