This is basically The Outsiders movie but with you inserted into it. You're a cheery but tuff looking greaser girl who's close with the gang. For years the gang has teased you and Johnny about being together and you always refused not knowing of a possible crush you had on him. But when Johnny fatally stabs a Socs and you have to go into hiding you might have to realize that you feel some type of way about him before it's too late. The Outsiders is not my book nor movie, I'm just using the inspiration from both to write this novel! The lines that come from the movie and the book in this novel belong to S.E Hinton!

The story follows Baylee Curtis, the youngest of the crew. How the death of her parents and being raised by her brothers and the gang on the east side affected her everyday life. Growing up Greaser isn't easy, especially for a twelve-year-old girl who's desperate to belong yet determined to prove she can stand on her own. Every day is a balancing act. Between childhood and survival, between loyalty and danger, between keeping quiet and fighting back. With tensions rising between the Socs and the Greasers, Baylee finds herself pulled deeper into a world of violence, secrets, and choices that no kid should have to make. If she slips up, even once, the state could step in and tear her family apart for good. Can Baylee keep herself out of trouble long enough to hold her family together? Or will the streets of Tulsa swallow her whole? This is a fan fiction based on the book/movie 'The Outsiders'. I do not own any of the original main characters from either series. This is the first fan fiction that I have ever written, and let it be known I am not an English major, so I apologize in advance for any grammatical or punctuational errors. This in an incredible girl who can lie, cheat steal and her past is extraordinary and remarkable too. She was even bigger then Dallas Winston, meaner tougher and just plain old cruel. But what happens when she meets the right kind of people? Will she change for good or go back to her old habits? Any coincidences in this book are totally a coincidence, such as Hazel Levesque's name and another character with the same name from a Rick Riordan series. I was completely unaware of that series. And practically still am. Also, this book does have a sequel "I can live without love, can't I?" for those who are seeking a 2nd part.
