Welcome to the wonderful world of writing on Wattpad! This is Wattpad, not the Olympics, so there's no need to panic. Anyone can try it, no training required. Writing doesn't have to be complicated, and you don't have to be a graduate of some fancy university, but there are a few guidelines that will make things easier for you and your readers. I have tips for beginners who paid as little attention in English as I did, as well as details on things I've learned over the years. Anyone can write a story. I never thought I would write anything, but I tried it and - much to my surprise - I found it very relaxing and entertaining. Feel free to skip around the chapters to find sections that interest you. You are also welcome to skim everything in case you find a hidden gem of advice. Please note that my writing tips follow the Chicago Manual of Style writing guide (you are free to use a different guide - keeping things consistent is the biggest thing).

This book is a collection of resources and random tips that will help you become a better writer and create stories worth reading. Since I've started the writing journey, and particularly started editing freelancers' works, I've discovered there are some basics, resources, and tips from professionals that will help all those striving to improve themselves, some of which I want to share with you in this book. Some of the content will be extracts from other professionals with advice and tips, and some of it will be from my own experience. Here's to us, the writers

There are hundreds of fantastic books about writing for hopeful authors to choose from, but most of them are boring, complicated, and bogged down by filler. This little book is brief, straight forward, and easy to understand. I hope it will serve as an easy-to-read manual to help serious writers perfect their craft. I should say right off the bat that I am NOT an expert; I forget my own tips all the time! However, I do know what generally works for me, so I thought I could pass it on to my friends at Wattpad. One last note: this book is for writers who have a basic understanding of grammar and story structure. Wattpad is full of prominent writers, people trying to get their work out in the opening. We all know that writing and creating an original book is hard, and you'll most likely get stumped on the way. It doesn't matter how wild and interesting your imagination or ideas are. We all want to write something original, different, and interesting. To produce a remarkable story, you need to get inspired. Then you have to develop your work properly and self-edit into the best it can be.
