After the events of The Avengers, Loki is brought back to Asgard, only to be cast out by Odin Allfather to Midgard (Earth). He is left powerless, and with only one form of communication back to Asgard. He meets the enigmatic Lady Morgana of Camelot, and is introduced to an entirely new world full of knights, dragons, and the odd relationship between a soon-to-be king and a legendary warlock.

The world has fallen. Centuries ago in the land of Otniel; darkness came and took its black throne. Years later; after seeing that man needed help; God himself sent two powerful angels; both destined to save mankind. With nothing but the weapons and clothes on their back; the two spiritual beings set off in a dangerous task of destroying the Ruler of the Dark World; the arch demon Vetis.
