Timeline ->After Volume 3 (Island Exam) In the wake of the island examination, Advanced Nurturing High School implements a novel assessment to evaluate the strategic thinking and psychological insight of its first-year students. Unlike the traditional Year 1 Volume 4 exam, this new test revolves around a six-sided die, reflecting the intricate dynamics among the 160 students. At its core, the exam spotlights six prominent individuals, each associated with one face of the die. One (1) - Represents initiation, autonomy, and leadership. It may also mean solitary and isolation. Two (2) - Highlights duality, partnership, and balance in decision-making. This student will have to choose a way from dual ways. Three (3) - Suggests creativity, expansion, and spiritual congruence, encouraging trust in intuition. Four (4) - Symbolizes stability, structure, and methodical progress toward goals. Five (5) - Embodies transformation, freedom, and adaptability, urging openness to change. Six (6) - Signifies harmony, responsibility, and nurturing, emphasizing self-care and concern for others. Each day, students receive curated memories offering clues to determine which number aligns with each of the six key figures. This process promotes collaborative discussion and analytical reasoning within each class. During the events of Wax Wings Volume 1.9, after receiving near-devastating news about Class D's resident loner, Ayanokoji Kiyotaka, the entire Advanced Nurturing High School is summoned to the auditorium for a special announcement. What begins as a seemingly ordinary assembly quickly spirals into a chaotic blend of disbelief, confusion, and anxiety as the Acting Director, Tsukishiro, presents a shocking revelation-a revelation that defies reality and leaves both students and faculty struggling to comprehend. As rumors swirl and theories form, the students-each with their own unique perspective-are forced to confront the impossible: Ayanokoji has vanished without a trace, and evidence suggests he may have crossed into another dimension. While some mock the absurdity of the situation, others remain skeptical, trying to make sense of the surreal events unfolding before them. Yet, one thing is clear: their understanding of Ayanokoji, the school, and perhaps reality itself, may never be the same again.
