With Madeline Scott as the team principle of the Audi Formula One, 15 years after her one and only championship, will the two of them see eye-to-eye on the right and wrongs of the race track? While Osbourne tangles herself into the new high-end social scene and standards she must upkeep, with more female drivers on the grid and ruthless men still downplaying their success, how will Osbourne cope? How with Scott work alongside Charles Leclerc once again after their infamous 'love' story, now she had a family of her own and Charles has proved to still be stuck in the past?

She would grab whatever she could - a look, a whisper, a moan - to salvage from perishing, to preserve. But time is most unforgiving, and she couldn't, in the end, remember it all.

: ̗̀➛ part one of the one for the road series THE LONG GAME / GR63 Talia Agu's life was finally back on track after a couple of hectic years where she moved across the world, dealt with fake friends and a toxic relationship, and two years of isolation halfway through her study. But all it takes is one birthday party, two electric blue eyes, a snowstorm and a lot of Bacardi before she finds herself in the arms of a certain British racing driver, who so happens to be an old high school classmate that she used to have the biggest crush on. George Russell has had the best season in his career so far. With his move to Mercedes, he managed to uphold a streak of top 5 finishes in a below-average car and beat his teammate in the Driver's Championship. Having come back home to London for the winter break, however, he is left with the feeling that something in his life is missing. He finds it in a girl in a purple hoodie on a close friend's birthday party, but every fibre of his being tells him to run. Will they part ways after one night spent together under the influence of alcohol and lust, or will something pure blossom after all? © all rights reserved, thalassophxle 2022 published september '22 #1 in #georgerussell on 13.02.23 100k on 11.07.2023

BOOK 1 Alyssa has been racing under a fake persona for most of her sporting career after becoming sick of the constant dismissal of her talent because of her gender. Gender clearly didn't play a role in driving ability. In her debut season in Formula 2 in 2018 with ART, she finished a single point behind the championship winner, Nick de Vries. She only seemed to improve and managed to beat her teammate, Robert Schwartzman, for the championship in her second year. Despite this, she refused to take off her helmet and reveal her identity to the world. If it hadn't been for Force India spotting her and recommending the young girl, despite her gender, to be a part of a dominant F2 team, Alyssa would never have made it all the way into F1. The pink team, who were successfully clawing back after a dip in performance, liked to gamble; it was certainly a risk when they decided to promote Alyssa up into F1 as a replacement for Sergio Perez. The Brit was only eighteen years old when Force India told her about Checo's retirement, and how she was to be his replacement. Her ability to maintain her F2 champion status despite filling in for him in the F1 seat on two occasions was a main motivator for the decision. They were aware of her struggles to make it as far as she had done so respected her wishes to keep the helmet on and her identity hidden. It brought them more sponsors than Esteban Ocon, and therefore more money to improve the car - why would they complain? For Alyssa, this was a real chance to prove herself. A woman can and will make it big in a male-dominated sport. But will it pay off when it's lights out?
