Splendont has been forced back into the limelight after years of living in the shadows. Splendid seems to have gotten his happy ending. They had a new group of super hero friends, made friends with Flippy, gotten the respect they deserved from the world governments after taking care of a problem they never dealt with. With new friends and surfacing issues he has to fix, his goals have shifted from protecting his brother, to protecting his brother from the world and himself. Otherwise, things were good. So, why did he still feel so empty? Why did he still push and pull with his brother, with others? Was he always going to feel so hollow? Who knows. He had his fixes and contacts... and a little raccoon.

Shifty has never been without Lifty for more than a month. He's never not been worried about his brother, money, security, safety, and his spiraling thoughts. Now, he's alone. He's gotten his house and away from a place he wished they had never come to. It's awful. Having Cuddles come back into his life isn't helping.
