Enter a disenchanted future of London-- escape to the enchanted past. Wren and historian Ali find a spell that takes them to the Victorian Era, which is better and worse than their expectations. They'll encounter magical orders, secret societies, and royal families. In a quest to rediscover magic in the past to somehow save their dystopian future their journey continues as love, loss, and magic systems open themselves to them. Magics explored: Hermetic Pentagram Magic, Astrology, Onmyōdō, Mesmerism, Cabala, Planetary Pentacles, Cunning work and much more! While certain liberties (the imaging of magic, the conclusions about the Death of King George III) are invented or exaggerated, but I've based about as much of this as I can on real historical facts! (Ali would be proud.)

Prince Leoric Menethil was never meant to wear the crown. He would be the first to say it. His fate was to live under the shadow of his older brother, Arthas Menethil, and eventually break his desk with the mountain of paperwork. The most he risked was a paper cut. However, as the world turned dark and cold, Leoric had to risk much more. He would do his best to save the people of Lordaeron. His way, while the golden prince might be crushed under his responsibility and his fiery righteousness. Will he succeed and secure a new future for the people who need it most? Perhaps he will just end up being the prince who ran? This fanfic is set during the events of the Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos story. It will follow the main plotline with divergences and new additions. There's going to be a romantic subplot for our character, and it might not be who you think ;) Fun fact! There will be several original characters who will represent characters I had in World of Warcraft. I always loved to add extra backstory for RP reasons, and what better way to commemorate them than to give them a space to live? Expect possible gore, brutality, foul language, tragedy, sensitive topics, and occasional smut. This goes for the whole story. If this goes well, I do not rule out a possible sequel. I've been told I can turn just about anything into a writing prompt, and I love doing it! Any time I am inspired by a situation, a conversation, or even a fun picture in a chat or discussion, I tend to share a silly, short, dialogue heavy prompt response for fun. Over time, these have become quite a thing in everything from my bookclubs to my DMs - and I was encouraged to share them here. So, this is it!
