Ashley is an eighteen year old college student. She has battled anorexia, depression and self harm, she suffers with anxiety still. Her idol is Tyler Carter. She gets bullied by Cassey, a girl in her year who feels she's boss and emo' s shouldn't exist. Slowly Ashleys thoughts are drifting back into depression. Can a chance meeting and collaboration with Tyler help to save her?

Ash finally gives up for good this time when she leaves home and she's not coming back, and when her car runs out of gas on the highway she is surprised when Tyler gets out the car and from that moment on her life changes forever.
