Kano Meikasi is a fifteen year old teenager who has grown up on her own for half of her life doing someone else's bidding. The pentacle in her left eye is proof that she is the servant of the Devil himself. She sends sinners to the deepest depths of Hell and the feeling of being trapped has been weighing on her for such a long time that she seems to have succumbed to the torturous feeling of dragging live screaming humans down with strangling chains. Although after dragging a sinner down in England she meets a girl named Menou traveling from Japan with a small nine year old companion named Yuu. They become really close while traveling to a near by town, but when Kano was suddenly attacked by what is called a Fallen Angel a complete opposite of her kind; she is forced into a violent battle while Yuu is sleeping soundly through the night. Eventually Kano and this angel get a chance to reminisce and they learn that their goal is the same. They both wish to defeat the Devil, although they still couldn't come to an understanding. Kano must learn to get along with this new enemy if they ever wish to see their true desire become a reality, and what will happen when Kano must make the unthinkable decision when little Yuu turns out to be a sinner.
