Hello readers, my purpose for this story is to inform you all about the wider cosmology of the cthulhu mythos and the beings that inhabit it.

I'm trying my hand at an original Lovecraft-inspired short story. It centers around Yig, one of the lesser-known deities in the Cthulhu mythos. This snake god was featured in "The Curse of Yig" by H. P. Lovecraft and Zealia Bishop, published in 1929 under Bishop's name. I'm deliberately using a lot of "tell don't show" and minimal dialogue but not quite so wordy as Lovecraft was.

The Hunter of the Workshop had finally slain the final adversary of his Hunt. Now with the Dream coming to a close and the one who maintained it slained by his hands, evolution to a Great One was all that was left for him. But... What if the Hunter rejected the natural order and did not become a Great One? The Hunter finds himself in a foreign land, where everything was a new experience for him. Including his new occupation, a lecturer of the so called Academy of Monsters, or as he would call it, the Academy of... Beasts. Rosario + Vampire belongs to Akihisa Ikeda. Bloodborne belongs to Sony and From Software. I own only Syn and this story.
