فتاة من العصر الحديث بعد حادثة غريبة تجد نفسها عادت الى العصور القديمة و بالتحديد في حقبة دولة تشين الفتاة تجد نفسها في وسط زواج سياسي بين دولة التشين العظمى و دولة اخرى سوف يتم ذكرها في الرواية كان على الفتاة ان تتزوج من الامبراطور المستبد الذي لا يمتلك اي سلطة في مملكته و هنا تبدأ الأحداث حيث ان الفتاة تحاول الغاء الزواج من الامبراطور الذي اصر على زواج منها بسبب ظنه انها جاسوسة و بسبب المنافع التي سوف تعود عليهم من هذا الارتباط في صراع على العرش و مكائد المحظيات و جواري الامبراطور مالذي سوف تفعله هذه الفتاة التي اتت من سنة 2022 حتى القرن 221-208 ق.م
