She left London with a broken heart. Four years later, she's back... but she's not the same woman Leah Williamson let walk away. Taylor Dawson thought she'd buried that chapter of her life forever. After leaving London and returning to Australia, she rebuilt everything from the ground up-a new life, a family, and memories she never imagined she'd have to survive. Talia Blake was the girl everyone warned Leah Williamson about. Reckless on the pitch. Sharp with her words. Impossible to control. The media called her England's bad girl, the fans called her trouble, and most people decided who she was before she ever got the chance to prove them wrong. So when Talia is called into England camp, Leah expects chaos. She expects attitude. She expects arguments. She expects the headlines to be true. But the longer Leah is forced to spend around her, the harder it becomes to ignore the cracks beneath Talia's perfect image. The unread messages she hides too quickly. The way her smile disappears when her phone rings. The tired eyes behind the sharp eyeliner. The fear she covers with fire. Talia Blake is not just difficult. She is hurting. And as England camp pulls them closer, Leah begins to realise that the girl everyone calls trouble might be the one person who has never been protected enough to feel safe. Talia is fire to the world. But to Leah, she might just be fragile.

For as long as she can remember, Rowan Ellis has lived in the shadow of her older sister-the Arsenal academy captain everyone believed would change the game. When her sister died unexpectedly, she left behind more than heartbreak. She left behind impossible expectations, painful memories... and Leah Williamson. Years later, Rowan finally earns her place in Arsenal's first team, determined to prove she's more than just the other Ellis. But every training session, every match, and every familiar face reminds her of the legacy she never asked to inherit. Especially Leah. Once her sister's closest friend, Leah has spent years carrying the weight of a promise she couldn't keep. Watching Rowan step into the same dressing room, wear the same badge, and chase the same dream is almost more than she can bear. So she does the only thing she knows how to do. She keeps Rowan at arm's length. But as grief slowly gives way to friendship, and friendship begins to feel like something neither of them expected, Leah must face the one thing she's been running from all along. Because loving Rowan doesn't mean letting go of the past. It means finding the courage to live beyond it.

Elowen Roux is twenty four, confident, stubborn, and convinced she knows exactly who she is. For four years, she has played beside Leah Williamson for both Arsenal and England. Four years of shared changing rooms, away buses, late night texts, inside jokes, stolen hoodies, and the kind of friendship that made everyone around them raise an eyebrow. But Elowen always laughed it off. She was straight. Leah was her best friend. That was all it had ever been. At least, that was what she kept telling herself. When England camp begins and a room mix up leaves Elowen and Leah sharing one hotel room with only one bed, everything they have spent years ignoring starts to feel impossible to hide. Leah is careful, controlled, and determined not to cross a line. Elowen is confused by the way her heart reacts every time Leah pulls away. Because sleeping beside your best friend should feel normal. Missing her touch should not. And when the lights go out, the truth becomes harder to avoid. Elowen swore she was straight. Until Leah stopped feeling like just a friend.

When a brutal tackle sidelines Arsenal captain Leah Williamson, the last thing she expects is to be handed over to a new physical therapist - one who doesn't care about fame, headlines, or the weight of a captain's armband. You are calm where Leah is restless, steady where she is stubborn, and unafraid to call her out when she pushes too hard. You treat her like a person, not a project, and that alone disarms her more than any injury ever could. What begins as routine rehab slowly becomes something else: quiet conversations during ice baths, shared laughter in empty training rooms, late‑night check‑ins that turn into something softer. Leah finds herself opening up in ways she hasn't in years - about pressure, fear, and the loneliness that comes with being everyone's anchor. And you? You start to see the version of Leah no one else gets to see - the one who's gentle, funny, and desperate to heal more than just her knee. But as her return to the pitch gets closer, so does the line you're both trying not to cross. Because physios aren't supposed to fall for their players. And players aren't supposed to look at their physios like they're home. Still... some connections don't care about rules. And Leah Williamson has never been good at pretending she doesn't feel something real.

Being in love with your sister's best friend is the worst. You know they're off limits but you can't seem to help yourself, especially when they treat you like you're special to them and they make you feel like you have a chance even when you don't. What makes it worse is the fact that Leah lives with me and Keira so I'm constantly around her. What makes it double worse is that Leah has known me practically since I was born. And what makes it triple worse is that I'm only 19 and there's a 9 year age gap between us. Started:18/01/2026 Completed: 24/03/2026
